Fall Family Fun Day in Otis

Our clever and tireless friends, the Dargers, host a Family Fun Day twice a year at their farm house in Otis, Massachusetts (about a 2 1/2 hour drive from our house). There is a trampoline, a volleyball net, and acres for the kids to explore. This time, they also rented a huge, inflatable slide that was nonstop entertainment for every child in attendance and most of the adults. In addition to these attractions, they planned scavenger hunts for the kids and showed movies on the side of the barn when the sun set.
The 5 Darger children pitch in and help in anyway they can.

We went this past Saturday and it was perfect in every way. The farmhouse, the weather, the fall leaves, the food, the activities, the company. We went away very satisfied and happy at the end of the day.

The thing I like best about Family Fun Day, is that the Dargers make sure it's not exclusive. Everyone they know is invited and made welcome. They are truly thoughtful hosts.
