House of Cards

I love these building cards.

I want these in my living room to dink around with or on my office desk. Or,
I would want to give these to my pre-teen that is outgrowing legos but still likes to build things. Or to someone that got their first desk job out of college — much cooler to be seen playing around with these at work than playing solitaire on the computer.

Bonus: they were designed by Charles and Ray eames in 1950s.

You can buy them here.

You know Gabby, your littlest brother just got his first desk job out of college....

Megan just got me a Nintendo DS though so I'll probably play that.

Freaky. I was just looking at these to buy for stocking stuffers (I like to start early) and yesterday I was checking out Dyson Vacs. Then I read your blog and felt weird. Are you watching me? Guiding me? I feel like buying a very beautiful water bottle all of the sudden.

Salem, can you believe I haven't sent you a graduation present? How lame am I? I'll tell you what. You pick a topic and if I like it, I'll blog about it and dedicate the blog entry to you.

Kacy, that is freaky. Although I've heard geminis are drawn to British vacuums.

Either way, I'm glad you're reading, because I'm a big fan of yours. I've been following your blog since it was first announced on times and seasons and I don't think I've missed an entry. It's awesome and I recommend it to everyone.

Gabby,

My default is a good anti-robot blog, which is the greatest gift of all. However, I don't want to cause too much contention in your house so if that doesn't work how about listing your three favorite days you've ever had.
