Whirlwind City Tour
I thought this article I read in Hemispheres magazine was super charming. A whirlwind guide to seeing San Francisco in 5 hours. I totally want to follow this. And I wish I had something similar to guide me while I'm here in Chicago. Plus. The illustration makes me feel cool just looking at it.

Love this!
totally doing this. thanks!
We live close by:
Day 1. Shedd's Aquarium ... take a water taxi across to the Navy Pier. {Bubba Gump's for lunch and by the time you get to the back of the pier there is dessert: HagenDas ice cream!}
Day 2. Sears Tower, of course, to spot the next location your taxi should take you... Millenium Park! {cool off by walking between the water towers in the front}
Day 3. two words for you: MICHIGAN AVE. {if you are anything like me you can spend the entire day shopping} There is American Girl Museum if you find yourself missing your family
Day 4. Field Museum is gonna take the whole day, so give yourself a little treat for all your hard efforts... Gino's East Pizza! {yum!}
Day 5. Lincoln Park Zoo is still in the downtown vicinity, AND it's FREE! There is a cute little park outside the back gates, so pack a lunch. Then go across the road from the zoo to those lovely beaches on Lake Michigan.
If you get ALL of this accomplishe in 5 days, GOOD LUCK!
P.S. Let me know what you do actually get accomplished ;)
Oh yeah, sorry I didn't make you a Map.... heheheh
Fantastic & perfect timing. My sister has been our SF tour guide for the last five years and now she's up and moving to Alaska. How will we know where to go or what to do? Thanks for saving us.
Love it.
I'm embarrassed to claim I've been to Paris since we spent just one night there, plus a few morning hours, but we managed to see a LOT--with a great cab driver and a few good stops.
This is great! And I'm going to San Francisco next week to celebrate my 10th anniversary! Perfect timing for me! Thanks!!
Gabby, just please go to Frontera Grill (Rick Bayless Chef) for me, please.
love,
jordan
