Easter Eggs
According to our calendar, we are supposed to dye some eggs today. I think we'll go with something super simple this year — maybe even skip the dying and pull out the markers instead. We leave on a SURPRISE Disney vacation on Easter morning. The kids have not even ASKED about dying eggs, so I'm not bringing the subject up!
I want to hide a few hard-boiled eggs this year, along with a little candy and a few small toys. But my daughter is barely two and I have no desire to break out egg dye with her just yet. Markers sound like a much better idea. Do you have any recommendations? Do I need to get a kind that is food-safe?
I love your thoughts about decorating easter eggs simply...good for you.
