Monthly Baby Photos
What a great idea! Ohdeedoh posted about Kathy who took photos of her baby from one month old to 12 months old, lying on a Stendig calendar. A very visual way to see the growth of your baby — plus it looks so cool!
(FYI: the Stendig calendar is oversize and classic and famous. You may remember seeing it on this post. Every other month switches from black background to white background. They sell a new one every year.)
I saw this on say YES!

This is a great idea.
We take a photo every week of our little guy with the same stuffed animal. It amazing to see how he has changed throughout the year. This Monday will be the last weekly photo (he turns one that day) and then I'll go to the monthly photo for as long as he'll let me.
I love this idea, and when my baby is born (due in July) I am totally going to do this. Thanks for the idea!
That is such a clever idea! Darling baby photo and we love the Stendig calendar. My husband has bought the Stendig calendar for the last 15 years. In December of 2004 we moved from CA to FL and forgot to order the 2005 calendar. By February they were sold out totally, all over the globe! After days on the phone I finally located one hanging on the wall of a little shop in London. It was the most we had ever paid for a calendar. We now remember to order every October. We have it hanging above our desk. It has plenty of room to mark dates with small post it notes and it makes delightful wrapping paper for gifts.
cool calendar
cool baby
LOVE THIS!!! No children yet, but this is totally making the file of fun things to do :-)
I want to do this! Already looked into buying the calendar, but you can't get one for this year - will have to wait for the 2009. I may have to go borrow Erin's each month for a photo shoot!
I love this idea!
hi - i love this idea, I have a baby due in a few days and would dearly love to start this tradition from day one. I can order the 2009 calendar but would anyone be interested in sending me the Sept, Oct Nov and Dec pages of their calendar for 2008 oncee they have used them? I would pay for postage and the pages if need be?
I am also having trouble locating the 2008 pages. I would also be willing to pay for the pages and postage of November and December if anyone is willing to give theirs up before the end of the months. Please let me know. Kimi0781@hotmail.com
Great idea. I also found a very effective tool to design over 10 baby photos by few mouse clicks. Take a look at http://www.5dfly.com
Have lots of very beautiful photo templates.
