Freecycled Chairs
Dutch's great post on vintage children's chairs has me driving around town with my eyes peeled for great bargains. I found these on my freecycle email list. These chairs are darling. And obviously a hit with Oscar. Perfect for the playroom.
Now I just have to decide whether to paint them or leave them be.

You guys have great freecycle stuff...ours, not so much.
I'd leave them, but they match my wood colors. Your house might be a bit more colorful... good find. I am jealous out here in SF...
Oh what a find! We ALWAYS need chairs in this house, especially as the children grow older and keep bringing more friends home! =)
always a difficult decision to paint or not to paint- I can appreciate both bare and painted! Tough decision!
i love the curve to the seats. and i love your freecycle.
freecycle finally comes through! :^)
love these chairs -- what a deal
Leave them, they are so cute . . . so is my nephew.
Leave them as they are! They're gorgeous!
I'm with the leave 'em be crowd. They are great as is AND that means less work for you. Double bonus!
i had these exact chairs growing up. they fit the bottom so nicely. how strange is it that i remember how it felt to sit in them? i say don't paint-or mix and match some au natural and some painted.
Leave them be. Oscar is a dolly-face. He must get lots of kisses.
I would say leave them be--I like the natural wood. What cooooool chairs!
Something about the aged patina of used wood finish--very nice as is. Eclipsed, of course, by Oscar. What a star.
Leave them be. They're fabulous.
They need no assistance in their fabulosity.
I'm jumping on the bandwagon here...those are gorgeous as is, I would leave them.
WOW. I'm impressed.
The only thing people seem to freecycle around here is, well, nothing of interest.
There was a guy asking for flutes though.
Leave those chairs alone. They're gorgeous!
