My Charmed Life came under my radar when I learned about the lovely idea of cake pulls — which I posted about here. You can use your gift certificate to get your own set of cake pulls or put it to use picking out several charms from their extensive collection. And I'm not exaggerating one bit when I say extensive.
Frankly, it was lovely time spent browsing through their collection and deciding which charms I would feature on this post.
And don't forget, you get a tiny charm diary as well — a place to record the nuances of your chosen charms and notes on how and why they came into your possession.
I find the idea of starting a charm bracelet for my daughters — that I can add to on birthdays, or piano recitals, or just to celebrate a new hobby — very appealing. I love gifts you can add to. Really, I just love the look of charm bracelets. Shiny, texture, baubles, details. What's not to love?

When I was a girl my mom took me on a tour of the missions along the California coast. At each mission she bought me a charm and when we returned had it put into a charm bracelet. I still have that braclet (I am in my 40's).

My close girlfriends started a tradition when the first of us got married. The bride gives everyone a charm, sort of representing her and her husband, and their new life together. It's fun to see them add up, and there are even more coming this summer! It's a great way to keep each other in our thoughts!
The charm journal would be great to explain why each of us chose the charm we did!

How exciting! What a terrific giveaway idea!! I have a charm bracelet from 'My Charmed Life' that I just love. I have a charm of my first initial, a dragonfly to represent my personality, a lil' girl in pigtails for my daughter, and baby booties for my baby who is due in April. I came home last fall to show off to my husband my new charm bracelet and regretted not having the golf bag that I was thinking about getting in representation of my husband. The pinecone charm reminds me of road trips with my Grandmother when I was a little girl. We'd collect them at all the rest stops and use them in our Christmas decor every year.
