Rainy Day Plans
Apparently rain is on it's way for this weekend. I have abandoned our plans to spend the day in Otis, Mass at a friends farmhouse and now I'm thinking about rainy date alternates.
Ralph found a peach jam recipe in a children's magazine (page 43 of the September issue) and he really wants to try it. We've never made jam together. Plus, peach pie is my fave. So if I make it to the grocery store peachy things may happen.
Cross your fingers that we don't lose electricity.

Last night we spent three hours at the Peach Days Festival in Hurricane. This season we've made peach jam and oodles of peach pies (some we ate, some we gave away and some are awaiting their doom in the freezer).
I love peach season.
