Make Your Own Slippers
In the 2nd issue of Blueprint, buried in an article about having a no-shoes house, is a great kid project. They took a pair of socks and made them slip-proof so the socks could function like slippers.
So simple. Just decorate the bottoms of a cute pair of socks with puff paint for fabric. Wouldn't this be a perfect activity at a slumber party? Maybe with some cute little pom-pom anklets?
I'm not convinced the adult version is that charming. But for kids, right on.

Love it! Could be cute as a gift for an older grandparent (our g-mother loved slipper socks).
