Diaper Bags
I've noticed I become more anti-gear with every child. The less I have to carry, the better. For example, I rarely pack a full change of clothes for the baby when I go out — a simple onsie will work in a pinch.
My current bag contents:
-1 Water bottle (we are a share germs family)
-sunscreen
-1 cloth diaper for spit-up
-1 oscar-size diaper
-2 betty-size diapers
-ziplock bag of wipes — 10 is plenty for a typical outing
-ziplock bag of pretzels/crackers (If I have all 5 with me, I'll just bring the whole box)
-1 pacifier
-wallet
-cell phone
-lightweight blanket
That list is all I need through almost any outing. And if plans change mid-outing and I need something else, well, this is suburbia — I can either run home or stop at Target or borrow from a friend.
I've also discovered I prefer a big open bag without a lot of compartments. The one pictured above would be perfect for summer.

I'm really a fan of taking very little with me. I've shoved a few diapers in the car, one in my purse, don't even own a stroller any more, rarely have wipes and never bring a change of clothing. Unorganized? No, modern.
I like that bag.
Have you heard of patemm's? Google it... it's supposed to be awesome for Mom's. I wonder if it's really worth the hype?
So I checked out patemm. And if I used a changing pad, patemm looks like a good one. Some good looking textile design choices. That's for the tip
Yes! I am so with you. The less stuff to carry around the better! That bag looks great. I should really trade in the standard black diaper bag for something like that.
