Lots of tomatoes....still! And bell peppers. The zucchini has slowed down a little. There are 4 honeydew melons on the vine, but not quite ripe yet.
Are you going to make jam with raspberries?
Raspberries are my favorite fruit!
We have peppers, squash, chard, onions, beets, lettuce, and broccoli right now. YUM.
We're one week away from apple season here in Ontario so we're getting ready to make apple pie filling, which will be canned and enjoyed all winter long.
Its still peach season in Southern Illinois. But this coming week marks the beginning of Apple Time. A small nearby town even has an Apple Festival next weekend. I'm so going for the Apple Fritters.
Raspberries are my favourite berry!
A dear friend recommended your blog to me and I have been silently enjoying for a few week... thought it was time to say 'hello' officially and tell you how much you have inspired me!
Blessings.
xx
ps: I suppose I am harvesting potatoes from post-Winter Australian soil, songs, and friendships anon...
if anyone needs cherry tomatoes ... please call!
ugh. i cannot eat another one!
We have a giant old plum tree, and with the help of extension ladders and a couple of teenage boys, we've harvested probably nearly two bushels (a large cooler is about a bushel, right?). I've got to move the ladder over into the neighbor's yard to get the last possibly-reachable bunch.
I'm just about to stick my 9th plum kuchen in the oven!
