Katie sent links and photos to the beautiful baby shower she threw for her friend, Rachelle — and I just had to share. So lovely. You can find Katie's post about the invitations here. And her post about the party here.
I LOVE this!! I've thought about doing yellow as my main color one day when I do a nursery and I've thought how fab it would be for the shower too! Love this! Thanks for sharing!
How brilliant! These invites remind me of the beautiful letterpress work of Jordan Ferney! In May of 08 she posted about a shower invite she designed on her blog, Oh Happy Day. It was so darling. She packaged them in boxes with beautiful custom designed labels and bright yellow Lemonheads.
Thanks for the post Gabrielle! Annie, the paint is called Ashwood - it is by Behr - I had it in my last house too, in the bedroom, and when we moved in here, the space was so open I knew it would be perfect!
The baby shower is beautiful. I'm helping host one this weekend, although I'm not doing much for the decorations, aside from a diaper cake & some treats. We're doing "Pickles & Ice cream. I love the colors you used & I think it turned out just beautifully.
Thanks for sharing. Did you make the Milk Bath soaks? I'd love some info on what you did for those if you have a chance!
I absolutely love the use of yellow! What a bright and cheerful color for such a happy occasion. Thanks for posting, I may have to use some of these ideas for the next baby shower I host.

So funny, Nancy! Jordan is actually my sister. And you're right. Her letterpress work is beautiful. : )
do you happen to know what is the name of the gray paint on the walls? Looks like just what I'm after!
