What to Pack for Mexico
Did I mention I'm going to Mexico on Saturday (hooray!)? Packing is on my mind. Here's a wishlist:
-Pretty Peacock Havaianas from Piperlime.
-Something interesting to read and discuss, like Outliers by Malcom Gladwell.
-Sunglasses at Forever 21. Cheap, so I won't be sad when I lose them.
-Polka-dot Twist Tank from J Crew. Thankfully it comes with a removable halter strap, because friends, I am not well-enough endowed to hold a suit like that up.
-An Embroidered Peasant Dress to wear over my swimsuit. I've seen these in etsy shops and ebay but haven't placed an order yet — hopefully I can pick one up on location.
-And an Artist's Tote from Anthropologie to carry the lot.

Gabriel, I am going to two weeks too, and also some practical stuff like bug spray!
Hello? Me thinks some asprin for the inevitable margarita hang-over would go nicely with the yellow swimsuit don't ya think?
Being practical is glamorous. But planning ahead? WAY GLAMOROUS!
Lucky you! We went a couple years ago, in November. What a great getaway from all the yucky weather!
:D
My husband just finished Outliers. He really enjoyed it. It is next on my list. Enjoy your trip!
ooo, you'll look so cute. love those flip flops! nothing beats havaianas!
Oh, to be on the beach! I'm sure you will have a glorious time!
Thanks for being a FaceBook friend!
How fun, and how funny, while you are "not well enough endowed" to hold up that suit, I am too well endowed to hold it up. HAHA, but it is beautiful.
Have fun in Mexico!
love that bag and the suit!
I love it all especially the tote but hey...you just said on Twitter that you cut your hair. Can we see a photo??
peasant dresses and shirts will be everywhere for super cheap.
I just finished Outliers and LOVED it. My favorite of his books and that is saying a WHOLE lot.
I've heard good things about Outliers. Have a ball. Buy some vanilla in the gift shop at the airport. Comes in plastic bottles now.
Oh, fun! I love Mexico. And Outliers has been on my book list for a bit, can't wait to read it.
Havaianas are the best! I found the ads to be quite true, they feel soft and buttery on my feet.
My jealousy of you knows no bounds. ;-)
I usually enjoy your posts - but this one is just cruel! I am sitting here in snowy Illinois with frost on the windows and a harsh wind creeping through my door. Have a fantastic trip!
Perfect! This gets me in the mood for my caribbean outing next month.
Love all of your choices. Ahhhhh...Mexico...can I stow away in your luggage???
Wow, you lucky lady...enjoy your vacation and have lots of fun there.
Have a super time in Mexico! Myself and family live/work down here and couldn't enjoy it more. We live in Puerto Morelos on the Riviera Maya. If you happen to be heading this way and have any questions, let me know! I am happy to answer any questions you may have!
Have a fantastic time -- I love that dress, by the way. I found something very similar to that when I was in Tulum!

I'm so glad that you like Havaianas, because they are from Brazil, my home country!! And yes, they are very confortable, my Mom brhought to me 3 pairs last year, including one with a Swarovsky crystal on it...in the past it used to be a "in home only" type of thing, now it's very trendy!! If you want just check more styles go to www.sandanas.com.br... Have a wonderful trip!!!
What part of Mexico? We are planning a trip to Mexico but don't know exactly where to go. Any help?

Havianas are the best flip flops ever! I have seven pairs, but the peacock would be a wonderful addition. :) And the polka dotted swimsuit! Sigh! Adore it!
Have a fun fun trip.
