Fingerless Gloves
I am sitting in my office-in-the-garage, slowly turning to ice. I mentioned this fact on twitter and received back several suggestions for good-looking fingerless gloves. Like these from Tinker and Po. And these from KnitTwits.
It's kind of fun that I have a legitimate need for fingerless gloves.

Love both of them. I think I am going to weave some ribbon in a pair of my gloves now. My hands get cold while typing too.
Love these! I need them for my e-mail/twitter addiction from my phone. And, I think a kid-sized pair would be great for my son. We can't find gloves that are small enough and he gets so frustrated with mittens that he generally pulls them off. I think these would be a good compromise. Thanks for the idea!
I'm impressed, because I never thought I'd have a use for them.
Note to self: Get office cum garage.
But it IS my fingers that are always sooo cold...especially while typing! I would just want the fingerTIPS cut off! {like at the first knuckle....!}
Beautiful! Don't you love it when you actually NEED something that also happens to be, like, totally cool? :)
I just cut the feet off a favorite pair of knee-high socks. The toes and heels always wear out way too soon, and I hate seeing cute stripes/polkadots/what have you go to waste! They make great fingerless gloves in a pinch.
I LOVE fingerless gloves and those first ones are beautiful!!
I make some and love them too. Especially if I'm running a lot of errands, working or it's that "in between" weather. Great for tasks where I need to grab things. Ha! Very beautiful.
I like the fingerless gloves...half the time I am just pulling down the hem of my sweater to cover my palms so I can push the grocery cart or something!
I just made myself some fingerless gloves this past week with some handspun, hand dyed wool yarn I found on Etsy. They are the coolest. Well, warmest... Whatever I love them!
you could make some with socks, too, finishing off the upper part and a little whole for your thumb with a sewing machine.
oops! hey, adriana . . . great minds think alike? :)
