California Here I Come
On my way to California for a Toyota Design Seminar. It's been a long time since I've flown into John Wayne. I'm super excited, both for the seminar and because I'm hoping to meet Jean from NotCot.
Southern California is where I was born. And it always feels comfortable to me.

Welcome to Southern California Gabrielle. It's a good place to be.
born in So. Cal myself, love the vibe and culture, don't miss the traffic...enjoy yourself! :)
welcome to my neck of the woods. it's good to know you are close by. don't stay too long, you might want to move back. =)
You are a hop and skip away from me...have a great trip!
Enjoy! The weather's been gorgeous here.
I was honored to see my John Wayne Airport photo on your blog, Design Mom! I was in Irvine last year for a mystery fan conference--I write crime thriller novels--and was taken by the coolness of the design of JWA. The huge windows, the barrel ceiling ... classy stuff. Even the restaurant lighing is funky/chic. (For a few others pix, go to my website, click on My Photo Album, and look in the Men of Mystery tab, which has pictures from the conference, including some JWA shots I really like.) Again, thanks for including my photo. It was fun to see.
