Stay-at-home Dad, Alex Z, sent me this comic relief about organic kids. My favorite part: "Made from the milk of hormone-free, constantly hugged goats."
Brilliant. I got the stink eye from my playdate moms at the Chic-fil-a because I *dared* to order food there. They brought their organic food in like some sort of bizarro picnic. According to them, even the fruit bowl was suspect.
I live in Portland Oregon and myself and a lot of the people I know have recently started buying organic and thinking more about where food is coming from, so needless to say I sent this to many people as I found it quite funny myself!
so funny!! Thanks for sharing!! I know a whole foods and gourmet market (that just may be that market he's in) where everyone always looks angry shopping there...as if they're busy judging what everyone else is buying.
I needed a little comic relief this morning. I'm so glad you posted this clip! It makes me wonder though...are there moms out there like me who do feed their kids goldfish sometimes coupled with a glass of organic milk? I say balance is good :)
Hah! My kids are not whole-food purists yet - I'm just happy when they eat a vegtable! But we do actually eat a lot of Stoneyfield Farms YoKids squeezers organic low-fat yogurt in portable tubes! But ours come from Target, not Whole Foods, so they're probably somehow more American.

This was so funny. Thank goodness there is someone who cares enough to save our children from goldfish crackers and pudding packs. -Rachel
wow, I've run into this type of person at the market. so smug & judgmental. thanks for the laugh!
Way too funny! Thank goodness I got my kids off of that dirty old Rice Crispy cereal and onto the "organic" Rice Crispies.
Loved it!
That was brilliant.
He sent that too me as well, it's really very clever!

I have to laugh at his, because there is a little bit of me in this guy. I can't take myself and my nutrition stuff too seriously though.
