Remember those clever serving dishes from Nora Fleming with the interchangeable minis? Well I just heard from Nora — the artistic mind behind the lovely dishes — and hooray for her, Budget Decorating is featuring images of her beautiful home.

I've seen the article and I think it's great, so I asked her to send some photos that I could share with you on Design Mom. Happily she obliged. Take a look. I love studying how she uses color. The house looks so bright and happy and alive — and uncluttered! What a fun place to live.

On a side note, Nora's line of serving ware is expanding. She just introduced a pewter and pearls line at the Gift Show and I think they'll make a perfect Giveaway — watch for it soon.

My dining room is almost the same color (Shamrock from Martha Stewart @ Lowe's)! I thought maybe I was insane to pick it, so it gives me great relief to know someone with such great style used such a sassy green. Thanks for the pics.

The green really is fantastic, with that bright red and stark white it's stunning! I love to see the bold colors against the bright white palatte.

Her floors in the kitchen are really great- I am always exited to see painted wood floors- they are so unique.

GREAT HOUSE feature!
Design mom, I want more housey features! They are my ultimate FAVE!

LOVE IT! The golden (retriever) from Dunn Edwards is my family room color.

Two questions: what edition of the magazine and is it available online?

where, do tell, did she find the black checked chairs. i have been on a hunt for those :-)

great post...i agree with the home pics . . . more, more :-)

how beautiful! I don't think I would be gutsy enough to ever use some of those colors -- that green is gorgeous though!

My dining room is that green. My MIL, SIL and Mom thought we were crazy when we picked it, but I LOVE it. Our Kitchen is close to the golden color in one of her other rooms. We aren't afraid of color here :)
