Thursday Letter to cjane — by Guest Mom Nie Nie
Dear sister dear,
I am so sorry to hear that you are sick! I wish I were there to cheer you up and make you a smoothie. Christian and I were reminiscing about when you visited us in New Jersey and decided to start your juice fast. Remember I conjured up some good fresh concoctions with this beauty?
As I recall after over 20 different combinations your favorite was the pear, strawberry, wheatgrass smoothie. I would make you that you now.
As I type this, I am at my new house for the first night. I am so happy to be here, but am confused about the window treatments. Here is what I am considering. Which is your favorite?
Here is the beauty, I don’t have any color schemes, just pretty much whatever I want — tell that to Martha Stewart.
Your bundt cake sounds divine! What a lovely idea! I was thinking of making these homemade marshmallows with Claire and Jane to decorate our fresh key lime pie for Easter dessert. Mesa is blooming with fresh lemons and limes. I think I’ll go outside to my backyard and pick the bounty.
Lake Powell sounds so fun. I will need to be shopping for a swimming suit now. I like this suit from J.Crew.
Christian said this color would look best on me. I like the feminine ruffles. What do you think?
I was thinking these suits for the girls from Flora and Henri.
I hope you start feeling better soon. Some sun sounds like it is what you need. Maybe Lake Powell sooner than later?
I miss you lots. Happy Easter!
I love you,
Nie

I've been eyeing that swimsuit as well. Something about the ruffles makes it absolutely darling!
Yes, thumbs up on that swimsuit.
Love the green swimsuit. Pretty.
I love that swimsuit! How do you always find such cute things!?!
The bunny marshmallows are so adorable too. I was looking for something fun to make with my kids this year. Thanks.
I think I will also get that swimsuit, perfectly green and feminine--two of my favorite adjectives.
jordan? jordan K????
is that you?
I would definitely go with the pink bird print. It's gorgeous!
I also love the little girl's swimming suit.
I am loving your letters to CJane and hers back to you.
That swimsuit is so pretty.
I love your fabric choices, but the second one especially.
for your windows...I like the second print you posted. all are lovely, though.

I like the second print too, but the bird one says something to me. dang, now what? thanks all for you input.

I am partial to the black and white swatch. I live by the motto that every room needs one piece of black-and-whiteness.
But that is just me.
