Hello; A Few of My Favorite Things — by Guest Mom Lisa V. Clark
Gabby has asked me to be a guest on her blog, and I'm really honored that she would ask me. I'm confident everyone reading this blog is familiar with her style and talent, so you might also understand my intimidation in undertaking such a task. I'm not sure how to get over that, so I'll move onto some pretty things I'm thinking about, in a design sense, as a way to introduce myself.

My sister was just showing me that sofa/bunk bed last week in one of her design mags. Very cool.
love the sofa/bed. love the rug.
The sofa/bunk is so remarkable. I just keep studying it. Who thinks up cool things like that?
There is a company I saw a Dateline expose on, and their job was to design stuff like this. The episode I saw they were trying to "reinvent" the shopping cart. Everyone who worked there had a different background, degree, etc. It was the most fascinating thing--I kept thinking how fun it would be to work there. And of course I can't remember the name right now. . .
I just gasped when I saw the bunk beds.
