See's candies
See's Candy makes me homesick for the West. I picked up a box in California because it's hard to find in New York. I felt guilty for a minute that I wasn't bringing home Ghiradelli chocolate — I was in San Francisco after all — but I can get Ghiradelli at Target.
See's Bordeaux is a family favorite.

Michelle, do you mean butterscotch squares made by See's? I'm a total suckers for anything caramel or butterscotch.
Bordeaux bars, scotchmallows and molasses chips are the best!

Yes, butterscotch squares is a chocolate, just like bordeaux. The outside is milk chocolate and the inside is this brown sugary - butterscotchish goodness. Firm too, not gooey. Whenever I go into See's I get two butterscotch squares and one bordeaux. I eat the bordeaux in the middle of eating the butterscotch squares. Hmm. I sound completely obsessed, don't I?
