Green photo scavenger hunt
Katie Schultz had a great idea. She took her kids on a photo scavenger hunt. They walked around their neighborhood and took pictures of anything green they could find. So smart!
The same concept would work with any color. You could do it with letters as well. Or pick another sort of theme — smiles, toys, cars, things that make noise, animals, etc. Toddlers and preschoolers would be all over this.

Shoot, who needs toddlers?? I'm all over this one for blogging fun! Thanks for the great idea!
I love this idea, so glad you shared it. It bet it would look super cool printed as a collage and framed.
So fun!
Fantastic idea. My kids are about to get cameras for their birthdays so this will be perfect.
Hey Gabby this is Kjersten Thompson from St. George. I just came across your blog and wanted to say hi. You have a beautiful family and it looks like your doing well. You have so many great ideas on here and I love reading about your family. I look forward to reading often.
Seriously, why are ideas like this so hard for me to think of? My kids will love this. Maybe an Easter one for now...
Great idea. This will be a definite "to do" with my 5 and 3 year old who are obsessed with taking pictures.
I did this once with my son when he was wee. We searched for ampersands and I made a shutterfly book for him. It turned out really cool. He still loves to look through it.
There's a Sesame Street with letters all over New York City. That would be a really fun afternoon with the kiddos!
oh how fun! i used to throw color-themed potluck parties, back in the day. i think orange (cheetos? clementines? pumpkin soup, anyone?) was my most favorite. this sort-of collage would be a super-cool invite ... fun!
LOVE this idea! I was trying to think of an idea for a project/activity to do with my kids before our March break is over and this is perfect. Thanks.
Thanks so much for the cool idea...today my son and I did our own green scavenger hunt, check it out here: JackBlog. We loved doing this together!
