Gabrielle, I love the symbolism of the pieces on the mantle. The simple joy of starting over, represented by the little person waving his banner proudly. The vessels transporting the light that will help us see all the things that come before us. And the larger vessels behind them, representing each of us, not empty but "waiting, wanting, willing" to accept our potential for doing, being, accepting, giving, refusing and sanctifying. Really a stunning image in all of its simplicity. Happy New Year to you!
Happy New Year! I've really enjoyed reading your blog this year. I'm really new to all this and you are one of my inspirations. A mom that does it all. Love it!
I'm thrilled I discovered your blog and inspiring creativity. I'm adding you to my favorite link list. Best wishes for a creative 2009! Cheers, Nancy http://21centurydressmakers.blogspot.com
