Patterned Swim Wear

So many pretty patterns and colors in the swimwear at Athleta. And everything cut kind of sporty and athletic — lots of T-backs and bottoms with decent coverage. In another life, I plan to be someone who enjoys sports.

Is it time to think swimwear already? I'm on the hunt. I'll share my best finds as I find them. . .

I'm always looking for swimsuits that are for those of us with larger chests (which they have), though constantly in search of bra sized tops that are cute and not just plain black (and I hate it when they assume that because I have a larger chest I'm large all around!) So if you find any that are suited to that, I'm on the lookout.

I'll look forward to it. I think I need a new swimsuit for this summer - I'm thinking a tankini with a skirt on the bottom. I love that look.

What gorgeous fabrics! How about a sexy cozzie for women with big bums (ie, me)? A German friend of mind designed a lovely 'bikini' with loose pretty short-type bottoms and gave me one of her prototypes which was quickly permanently borrowed by someone else. I also once had a lovely skirt-cozzie, probably much as Stephanie mentions, which walked. Can't keep a good thing to oneself, apparently.

I'm a sucker for reversable clothing. Though, maybe they could find a way to put a soft cup bra inbetween the two layers of a full coverage, reversable swim suit. Is that asking too much? Maybe.

I ordered and just tried on the halter and swim shorts in the cute asian print as well as their one piece w/ sized underwire. The one piece was really short and the halter hugged my post baby body. Both going back...No more ordering swimsuits off the internet for me!

I absolutely love Athleta. I have several of their swimming suits - and love every one of them. I am having a hard time deciding on which one I will get this year . . . .

I love these suits too. But they don't have enough choices in the busty section. I'm nursing and need a suit that doesn't look like I'm busting out. Help!
