If You Can Maker Faire, You’ll Make It Anywhere.

For a whole week or so, it was non-stop Sk*rt/Maker Faire announcements around here. But I've never taken a minute to report on the actual Maker Faire. And update you on the huge Giveaways. So here goes:

Sk*rt made a stop in Austin for Maker Faire last week. And wow, was it fun! Our booth was right next to our friends at Etsy and ReadyMade, and we loved hanging with our CRAFT friends. Martha Hopkins, author of Intercourses spent time in the booth with us all weekend, signing copies of her lovely book and giving all kinds of making ideas. Oh, also, there were robots.

Really, what more could you want in a weekend?

Oh yeah, sk*rt users! It was so fun to meet so many sk*rt users. And to talk up a few of our favorite makers with everyone we met. Makers like those fourteen who featured giveaway items in our giant Sk*rt/Maker Faire giveaway.
