Lizette Greco
I'm so excited to share the work of Lizette Greco with you. There is a description of exactly what I love so much about the work in a paragraph on their shop page:
The works of Lizette Greco + Grecolaborativo are the product of a full family collaboration, a couple creating with their young daughter and son. Our plush toys are based on the children's drawings and are made using only thrifted and recycled materials. We also accept commissions for pieces using drawings from other children. Our aim is to create artwork that celebrates a child's perspective of the world and will hopefully be passed from generation to generation.
A family working together to create stuffed animals based on the actual drawings of their children. What's not to love? There is something Incredibles-esque about it. Extra bonus: earth-friendly. Extra super-cool: they can make your own custom toy based on a drawing by your own child. Fantastic.
Most of the pieces are large, and some are pricey. But think of them as an heirloom — they're meant to be handed down — and the prices aren't as daunting. Enjoy your visit to their gallery, to their shop and to their flickr page.

How clever!
FAO Shwarz will make your child's drawing come to life as a stuffed creation. For a price. $250, ouch.
