Seriously. Don't touch my belly.

The image “http://www.mollyanna.com/admin/uploads/865621_390319.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

I saw this knowing shirt by
Molly Anna and want to buy one for every pregnant woman I know. From the product description:

"Maternity Wardrobe $2,408
Nursery Furniture $1,317
Touching my Belly $5
Some things money can't buy.
For everything else, you need cold hard cash."

I mean how sick are you of random strangers touching your belly?

My cousin gave me some advice about when people tried to touch my belly last time. He thought I should "Tap" them on the forehead with my palm and firmly say "No!!" I am really thinking about trying it out this time. ;)

Not even strangers! I hate when my grandma touches my belly! And my husband! Pregnancy brought on this weird and completely unlike me aversion to being touched. I need a "hands off!" shirt like this!

This should absolutely be the next giveaway! :) I'm expecting and unless you are my husband, daughter, or midwife don't touch the belly! This is very much needed. :)

I'm kind of in awe that the maker of this shirt thinks it's normal to spend $2400 on a maternity wardrobe. Not where I come from.

I may be a freak, but I didn't mind it when people touched my belly. It felt like people were loving on my baby as much as I was. I even surprised myself :)

That is the BEST shirt - almost makes me want to have another baby, just to wear it!

i agree with Stephanie. I didn't mind at all when people touched my belly. It was like getting a little hug.... which I always like!

And, yeah, $2400+ on maternity clothes... uh, NO!

I must scare the sh*t out of people because not once did a stranger ever touch my belly in my first pregnancy or my current one.

My sister (clearly the nicer one) used to respond by putting her hand on the offender's belly to make them instantly understand that it's not okay to touch a stranger's midsection, no matter how tempting.

I'm with letterb. I had four pregnancys and NEVER had anyone touch my belly. I must send out the don't-mess-with-this-chick vibe.

In fact, I was in my third pregnancy before I even heard that strangers will walk up to someone and touch their belly. I've still never witnessed it.

I must have that "don't touch me" vibe going on as well. The only person who ever wanted to touch my belly was my son when I was pregnant with his sister.

The best advise I heard regarding the Tummy Touchers is to SCREAM AT THE TOP OF YOUR LUNGS!!!! And then say softly, "Oh, you startled me."

It doesn't keep you from being touched that one time, but it might stop them in the future!

$5? JUST $5?! How much of a deterrent are you sure this will be?
Whenever I was pregnant I think I must've just naturally given off some kind of "touch my belly and you draw back a stub" hormone - now if only I could bottle that...I'd be a gazillionaire

Hands off Belly Maternity Tops at www.handsoffbaby.com. They also have signs that attach to strollers and infant seats that say "Wash Hands Before Touching Baby" with the universal "NO" sign which is reconizable in any language. You can purchase onesies and bibs with the same message. Check them out at www.handsoffbaby.com or www.washhandsbeforetouchingbaby.com.
