My First Visit to Chicago.
Suitcase packed. Check.
Ferris Bueller reviewed (the first Chicago movie I could think of). Check.
Cherry red pedicure procured. Check.
It's looks like it's time to head out!
While I'm 100% looking forward to the possibility of sleeping in, and while I know it's a short trip, I haven't quite made it out the door and I already miss my wee family. Ridiculous.

Give the Sears Tower a hug from me....oh I how I miss my city...
Have so much fun Gab!
If you see Oprah ask her for a new car. I hear she has a lot of money.
Have fun!
AND... please tell all the ladies of Sk*rt - I love that new Organize Mag... thanks for the subscription! It is guiding my simplification of life.
Speaking of Oprah - she should be interviewing you ladies!

You'll have such a great time! And P.S. your family is not so "wee." I think in these parts 5 kids is considered "huge!"
EEK ! .. good on you!... We have our Winter Photo shoot tomorrow .. and I am sooo NERVOUS!
Yay, go Sk*rt/Design Mom! And have a fabulous, well-rested, red-toed time!
You, my Dear, do not have a wee family... which is just the reason you deserve a 'wee' break.
Have fun, Gabby! Can't wait to hear all about it!
It sounds like such a fun trip. I've never been in the city either.. I've been in the airport.. but that doesn't quite do it for me.
I hope you take pictures. :)
Um, please go to Rick Bayless' restaurant Frontera Grill, if only so I can live vicariously through you. Enjoy!
Come visit my neighborhood of Wicker Park and Bucktown on your visit - there are fantastic stores along damen avenue including psychobaby for the little ones and raizy (beautiful underthings) for you.
You have such a fun BLOG!
Have fun!
I ran into your darling family at Target today. They all looked well and happy. Audrey is pretty brave to attempt Target with all of them, but she seemed calm and cool! :) I'm sure they are excited to have you back tomorrow. In the meantime, I hope you are enjoying EVERY minute of your time away. You deserve it! Can't wait to hear all about your trip.
