Sitting Pretty — by Guest Mom Lindsey Johnson
Toilet Seats.
We all sit on them every single day. Usually more than once.
The other day when I was scrubbing my toilet, I was once again noticing how old and worn out our toilet seat is. The thought dawned on me that in today's world, someone must be selling pretty toilet seats. And sure enough, a quick Google search confirmed it.
Here are a few of my faves.
I love the colors in this one from Kohler called "Surprise." What a great name for a toilet seat..
This one is great, too. Find it here.
And I love this one found on the Lillian Vernon website.
Other fun links to decorator seats can be found here and here.

And, toilet seat #1 (ha, ha) matches my new color scheme.
Wow! I should take this subject more seriously ... I'm sure the possibilities are endless! No pun intended.
hehe. you are so funny. I wish they made talking seats with commentary on your deposits.
At our first apartment our toilet seat was cushioned (and green). At first I made fun of it. Then we moved and now I miss it . . .
Remember Grandpa's cushioned toilet seats? Those rocked! I love thsoe Linds. Very cool.
That is awesome!! Trust Lillian Vernon to have one, they have everything!
The possibilities are endless... I have heard of other moms that have taped school work to the back of the toilet (or above it), things like times tables and passagers to memorize, and apparently it works!! Can you see it? The multiplication times tables series, the spelling series.... :-)
They have everything--especially on the sites from the UK. But what more could we expect from the Brits and their (wonderful and naughty) potty humor.
Yes, cushions. Nice especially after giving birth.
Love the "surprise" one the most. That is great! Everyone could use a little more lovely in their toilet routine.
i love that second one. i am ALL about cool toilet seats. white ones are so boring.
this is great, i love it
That last one rocks! (funny to get excited about potty seat covers... but my Dad is a plumber so I guess it's okay! LOL!)
Thanks for your comment at my blog!
Nan
I love it. Especially the surprise.
I love that last one - who knew that your toilet could look so good!
