The Happiest Lunchbox

Dear friends, how happy is this lunchbox?!! And how happy is Design Mom knowing that it exists. I find it easier to be a green parent when zip-lock wasting is replaced with pretty.

Melamine in four separate (beautiful) sections.

That's definitely a happy lunchbox. I would enjoy eating lunch out of that even if I was just at home and not packing.

That is very pretty! My girls would love it, and I would be happy for them to have a lunchbox that is free from lead (have you seen all the stories on the vinyl lunchboxes lately?)

Cool for a family outing to the beach, but WAY too big to fit into a backpack and take to school - that's what I need: new lunchboxes for my boys (they don't like the ones I bought in Sept). Any ideas?

What a great idea... We use bags right now, but I have noticed that with bags she throws all the "leftovers" away and I have no idea what she is eating... this is a great option..

What a pretty lunchbox! It looks like the Chinese or Singaporean tiffin boxes. William goes to school with my old (Japanese) obento box that says "Omochaland" (toyland) on it and all kinds of japanese written in English so it's as if some mad monkey typed out something on a computer. Anyways, he loves it. Japanese (and Asian) supermarkets have all kinds of fun things to make the lunchboxes fun and pretty and exciting to open.... but this tiffin box is very very special!!

By the way, Costco was carrying some amazing and handy lunchboxes. They might start carrying them again now that it is going to be warmer weather soon. I found them in the "seasonal" section, next to the coolers and turf supply and giant inflatable playsets, etc. Little omochaland lunchbox fits in perfectly.
