Paper Flowers
Because my sister is taking a well-deserved blogging hiatus, I was browsing her archives this morning to get my daily fix. I came across a post she wrote about Jude Miller's paper flowers.
While all of Jude's creations are beautiful, this peony is truly outstanding. I could stare at it for a long time. (Confession: I have been staring at it all morning.)

I loved this so much I even emailed her to get a quote. It was around $150 or something like that. If I was getting married I think I would buy it.
i can't believe that's paper!
just beautiful!!
St. Patrick's Day is here, you see.
We'll pick some shamrocks, one, two, three.
We'll count the leaves and look them over,
And maybe find a four-leafed clover.
I'll sew green buttons on my vest,
Green for St. Patrick is the best.
I'll wear a green hat, very high,
And dance a jig--at least I'll try!
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
That flower is amazing!! I love the idea of getting one for each of my girls and then having the "use" it for their special times.... Norah will be officially part of the family next month...hmmmm. Cant you see them using it at a baptism, a wedding, etc. Very inspiring...
