Snow Day

After a week or so of spring-like weather, we woke to piles and piles of snow. It's gorgeous. And since we were able to have a warmish break, I don't even mind the snow shoveling at all.

The kids are home. I've already had a mug of hot cocoa. And we'll probably spend the day working on a puzzle and taking advantage of this unexpected opportunity to go sledding.

I've got a couple of great posts coming your way — the main one being a report of Maude's Young Einstein Party — with lots of pics! I'm crossing my fingers I'll be able to squeeze in some computer time...

Oh yes, it's a snow day around these parts, too. My husband is home from work, and we're enjoying a little post-snow-shoveling tea time. Love that photo!

We are also in deep up in Boston...lots and lots of snow days, at this rate my children will be going to school until August. Ugh! But we are having fun, making banana bread, playing barbies, and making home movies.

I so miss having unexpected snow day holidays. I moved to the west 2 years ago and they are unheard of here. Enjoy it for me!

Enjoy the snow! We haven't seen any this year, so I'm jealous.

We didn't have ANY precipitation at all this year and the weather is already getting up to the 90s. It's is going to be a long hard summer here in NM. ENVY!
