Etsy Stockings

Inspired by the
stocking photos and ideas I posted about last year, I have been putting together a collection of assorted stockings. And I feel like the collection is taking shape nicely.

Three etsy stockings I bought over the weekend: a super-bargain-vintage-felt stocking with braiding and jingle bells. A beautiful linen stocking made from fabric repurposed from a dress by xoelle. And a red floral stocking by Ahna Holder.

I was just looking stocking up on etsy last night. I'm a little torn on what to do. Do I just buy two for my son and I? Or do I try to see the future and buy enough my future non-existent family? Such a dilemma.

My parents are Christmas grinches, so we never did much holiday activities like hanging stockings and stuff. Now my wife and I are celebrating our first in our home and I got to hang up my first stocking, along with one for our baby to be (expecting March 09), our dog Oreo, our collection of bears, and one for her. With all the stockings hanging up, it looks like a north pole laundromat.
