Spooky Tree Paintings
Bek (thanks Bek!) sent me the link to this wonderful Spooky Tree Art Project for kids. I'm bookmarking this. I think a gallery of spooky trees will be just the thing for next year's Halloween display. And it seems like a doable project for kids of all ages.

Those are VERY cute. Do you think it's okay if a 30something wanted to make them? lol.
I love your blog.
This is fantastic! I've used the straw method with food coloring on iced leaf shaped sugar cookies before, but it's been several years. I've been inspired! Thank you...again!
I too love your blog.
I just love these. I love your blog also. I will be back.
So Gabby, after I sent you the link I did them with my kids. They loved it!! Guess who's picture looks the LEAST like a tree? MINE!!
I stink at this!! Blowing and puckering lips is great oral motor practice for kids that struggle (specifially kids with Down Syndrome), so we will be doing this A LOT in our house...
We might do Christmas trees too.
Thank you for this link - and idea! My boys love to do art projects; we'll try this one Friday (no school).
These spooky trees are just perfect! I love children's art and it's fun to see it this way.
Yeah I was going to say kids project? I want to make them :)
Those are really classy looking in a spooky scary way! How fun that kids can make them.
I'm glad everyone likes these trees. The kids love to do them and they produce a great result. I'm hoping the school will let me post a group shot of them on the blog as both kindergarten classes completed them.
Thanks for linking my site.
gail, aka that artist woman
