Seeing the Everyday Magazine
On my California trip, I used some of my flight time to read the latest issue of Seeing the Everyday. From cover to cover. And no doubt the passengers sitting next to me wondered at my tears. But it is just the most heart-string-tugging/inspiring publication I can imagine.
I need to keep it out on the kitchen counter so that I'll remember to read it more often. And apply the inspiration it offers to my daily mothering actions.

I teared up just reading the sample pieces on their website. And then I immediately subscribed. I really need a reminder of how the simple, mindless things I do everyday with and in front of my kids has a huge affect on our family and our relationships. I think stories like this can be inspiration to help me keep my temper and live more in each moment. Thanks!
Looks like a great read-thanks.
I agree this is a great publication. My sister bought the first issue and lent it to me for a plane ride- I couldn't put it down! It was a very pleasurable cover to cover read with no distracting interuptions.
That's it! That's the perfect birthday gift for my best friend. I just ordered her a subscription. Thank you so much!
Our family loves this magazine and I find myself wanting to be a better person when I read it.
Thank you for recommending this a while back. It looks like a magazine but reads like a book and travels well. It's my favorite read and I only wish it came out more often. Thank you.
You have done it again! I purchased a subscription. I try to resist but this one I can not pass up. Many thanks for the post. If we could all be so mindful so often. Now that would bring about some change!
oh don't you just love that magazine. It makes me cry everytime I go to read it, in a good way of course :)
I loved the way you described the mag and I went on their website and got myself a subscription. There can never be enough motivation for a mom. So I hope it gets me thru a rough day with my kids.
I haven't heard of this before. I'll go check it out. thanks!
I found an issue of this mag at my grandpa's cabin... I loved it so much I almost stole it, but then thought better of it.
