Boo Foo Woo
If I had a regret about this summer's children's clothing trade show, it was that I didn't spend enough time exploring the Boo Foo Woo booth.
Boo Foo Woo is another new-to-me line. When I was walking past their booth, I was in a bit of a hurry — on my way out the door to catch a cab. But their clothing line is so fantastic and colorful and distinctly Japanese that I couldn't pass them by. I had to stop for a moment to pick up their literature, with a mental promise that I would explore their website when I got home.
This is what I've been able to discover. They are in fact a Japanese line (how is everything Japanese so darn cool?). Their English site is now mostly just a placeholder, but you can explore their very cool Japanese site to get a good look at their line — and to see the fabulous names of their collections — like Boo Homes, Back Alley and my favorite: Hippy Happy Yuppy Boo.
The pieces are creative. Detailed. And really just fantastic. I don't know if my kids could handle an entire BFW wardrobe, but a few key pieces would be wonderful. So now I'm on the hunt for a nearby shop that carries their wares. To aid me, I've been digging through their online shop in Japanese and a list of English-speaking retailers.
