Tea Party Hats



Oh my goodness! Maya sent me a link to her great post on making these adorable Tea Party Hats. I am in love. Aren't they adorable? The post is really excellent. Great photos and clear instructions. I'm feeling a tea party coming on.

You can do these hats with 2 layers of colored butcher paper - I have done them by using a white glue and water solution and shaping them to the children's heads and rolling and shaping the edges, then putting on an elastic band and letting them dry for about 10 minutes. Then you can take it off at let it dry more and add other fun stuff. (It doesn't stick to the head) You can even shape it over a bowl on the child's head or into a witches hat. I have some photos.
