Welcome to Amy!!
About Me: I am the proud and wild mama to two wee ones, Finn and Blaise and doting wife to Joseph the carpenter. I am a part time freelance writer and full-time mom in Ohio. I left my career in education last summer to stay home with my children. I am loving the freedom in schooling my children and blogging daily at www.doobleh-vay.blogspot.com. My master carpenter British hubby and I rehab and flip houses and also make cool wooden toys in our spare time that we sell on etsy.
I salivate over beautiful things at Cookie Magazine, Three Potato Four, kirtsy, Little Red Caboose, Pedlars, Enfant Terrible Shop, Sieben Morgen, and Design Within Reach to just name a few.
I really love living a creative life with my family and strive each day to have an experience with my children that fills their mind with wonder. Blogging has given me so very much and the amazing connections I have made are astounding. I am so very much in love with the blogosphere and am honored to be hosting here in sacred space!
Likes: power tools, radishes, clavicles, spoonerisms, and chicken korma
Dislikes: lines, math, George Bush, and sharing milk based products
I want to have an essay on NPR someday
I used to live in Europe and Joe and I used to travel the world. Not so much anymore. Now we just drink bottled beer and make out in our carport, but life is full and life is good. I hope to share with you some creative ideas for kids and summer time this week. I also want to show you pretty things! :)
