Organize Magazine

The latest issue of Organize Magazine arrived in my mailbox yesterday. Awesome! I know what I'll be reading in bed tonight — while Ben Blair is in the wilds of New York with Ralph and Oscar on a Father/Son campout. (Reading about organizing things on Friday night is hot! Super hot!)

If you are as turned on by straight lines and tidy linen cupboards as I am, you should totally be subscribing to this magazine. It is like magic.

In the last issue, there was an article listing the Flylady's 11 Commandments. Here's the number one: Get dressed every morning even if don't feel like it. Don't forget your lace-up shoes. (Putting on shoes puts you in a frame of mind to work, and if they're lace-up, you can't kick them off easily.)

I realize this is a simple idea, but it had never occurred to me before. I tried it. And it totally works! I tell you. This magazine is magic.

Ooh, I hate wearing shoes. But I do agree that getting up and getting dressed right away does wonders for one's productivity and general outlook on life.

Which reminds me. Maybe I should take a shower and get cleaned up. It's almost 3pm. LOL!!

totally totally hot. I'm down with it. Wish I were doing that tonight instead of actually organizing the drawers in my bedroom! Getting dressed is critical. As is doing something with your hair. Just something.

It looks like an excellent magazine. I'll have to check it out.

Thanks for sharing that tip. Wearing tennies usually does put me in the working "frame of mind." :)

Is this magazine seriously worth it? It sounds like it's calling out to me but I don't want more clutter if it's not worthwhile.

I love all magazines, but organizing is not my thing. But I can give it as a present!
