Goodbye Curls

The real sign that warm weather has arrived is Ralph asking for a haircut.
This is the longest he's ever grown his hair — and I think it looked great! But he looks great no matter what. He's just a handsome kid.

The haircut was a family affair. Ben did the actual snipping. All the kids watched and teased and fetched combs and spray bottles and whatever else was needed.

It's so unfair when the boys in the family get Mom's beautiful curls! (Not that I'm bitter...;-)

Oh...I'm sad. Just this week I was thinking how great it was that his hair was so long and curly. But, he is a handsome guy and looks great with shorter hair, too. Now, if you guys cut Oscar's hair...then I'll really be sad.

Wow! I'm most impressed that y'all tackled this youreselves. I don't even know where to start with my kids, who have pretty much straight hair (maybe there is more forgiveness with curls?). Fantastic job!

I can't speak for a boy, but if those were my curls, I'd keep them forever! I do like a clean-cut looking boy just as much as a curly mopped one, though!

I love his curly hair. When I see Ralph I think of him about three years old and reciting "the grinch" word for word.

Love it - you're right, he looks handsome no matter what. Which reminds me, we need to cut our daughters hair again - hot weather is upon us!

He sure is a handsome guy. He looks older without his curls. Do I sound like a senior citizen?
