Peek-A-Boo Bag

Thoughtful Shannon just sent me a link to a new toy, called a Peek-A-Boo Bag. I think they look adorable and I'd love to see one in person. Actually, I'd love baby Betty to see one in person — I'm not sure she'd ever let go if one found its way into her hands.

Fun to see a totally new idea.

I just found these at a craft fair. I bought one for my three year-old and one for my niece of the same age. My guy loves it. It looks pretty easy to make too.

They are easy to make and that way you can put whatever you want inside. They make great church toys.

We made these a few years ago for a "girls night" activity (we have done quiet books too). They are really easy and you just ask people to clean out the craft cupboard... ;-)

I love the idea of buying one though. They are GREAT church toys b/c they are quiet...

It's funny that you brought this up today—on Sunday my two-year-old daughter was literally climbing up a wall when one of my friends (a grandma herself) tossed one of these over (although it looked like one she had made herself). My daughter loved it! And I thought "I need to find one of these ..." Thanks!

I have seen bigger ones made for older kids with tons of little things to find. I love having the idea and trying to make one of my own too!

I've been seeing these at church for the last couple of years. Being a non-crafty sewer, I'm glad I can finally just buy one!

My mother-in-law made one these at a church activity. Admittedly it is lacking the really cute fabric. But I think it's a clever idea.

I've had one for years for my kids at church, but it's not nearly as cute as these are! Maybe time to get a new one.

I just saw one of these in a toy store this weekend. I thought they were something that would be more fun to make.

That's like "I Spy" meets Toys R Us. Love it!

Someone in our family made my daughter one for Christmas last year and instead of little buttons and toys to find, she put in tiny pictures of people in our family to find (we have a large family). I thought it was a brilliant variation.

I think Jill has one of these if you want to see one close up.

we made these in my ward recently as well! super easy and we found using plastic, clear shower curtain liners to be helpful for the 'window'.

I love the idea of putting the alphabet inside.

Those are awesome! What a way to learn and feel and explore for a little one. My kids are older, but I'll be sure to share this with my friends who have little ones.

We made these a few years ago for our local Children's Hospital. They are super easy, (and I'm not a sewer!), and you can add a million different things for different themes. We used fleece, but they are also very cute in canvas and denim.

The setup with the Tivoli radio, typewriter and lamp is so beautiful. I love it.
