Comment & Submit & WIN!
Sk*rt is back up. (Yeah!) And I have to say, I can't believe how great it is — and only 3 days in!
Users are finding the most interesting things. Women are submitting news headlines that they know other women will love. I've discovered 3 new blogs that I adore. And a new pair of shoes that I'm coveting. Plus I read an extensive article from the Times about holding-back preschoolers before kindergarten — a topic hotly debated in my neighborhood.
If you haven't spent some time on sk*rt yet, I highly recommend it, and there's even another contest-as-bribe to encourage you to get involved:All day today and all day tomorrow, June 6th - June 7th, anyone who submits a link to sk*rt, and makes three comments, is automatically entered to win a 12 x 12 inch Guided Memory Book from Shutterfly!
You may remember when I posted about making one of these for my Grandmother. It was really a great project to put together. So satisfying. I heart these books. And Shutterfly makes it super-easy to make one. You just upload your digital pictures and then drag and drop them into a template. You can add photos to the cover and even add text to the spine. And this month, a book like this would make the perfect Father's Day gift for your Dad.
The just-launched books come in sturdy hardback covers sized at either 12 x 12 or 8 x 8, and start at $43.99 and $23.99, respectively.
