Spring Break
I hope you had a wonderful weekend. We had a great Easter egg hunt in the backyard, fun — but chilly. And even if the weather didn't cooperate, the family looked like Spring in their Easter clothes. I like this picture of our wheat-grass-filled Easter buckets waiting patiently down the center of the table.
As I mentioned earlier, I'll be on a blogging Spring Break this week. But feel free to check back daily in my absence to see some favorites from the archives. And I'll be here next Monday, rested and ready to post.

What is the stuff that you lined around the buckets?
How neat! I love this. Have a nice spring break!
Tara, the buckets are galvanized metal. A few years ago the kids decoupaged strips of torn tissue paper and crepe paper and some random stickers onto the buckets at a church Easter activity.
the wheat easter buckets are fabulous! t hanks for sharing
I was just referred to your site...and shocked to see that you are from my hometown. I totally recognized your face from my childhood. Our Mom's were great friends. Love your site...truly inspiring. My triplets and I are going to decoupage buckets and plant grass today.
Thanks so much!
