Alice in Wonderland Over the Top

Do you remember the fantastic Alice in Wonderland party I posted about awhile back? It was gloriously colorful and shot by the talented Jessica Claire. Well. Jessica was called in to shoot another Alice in Wonderland party and she posted some of the pictures on her blog. You have to check it out. "Over the top" doesn't really do it justice. I had to keep reminding myself this was a party for a 4 year old. Beautiful. But part of a different world than the one I live in.

Thanks for the heads up Nicole.

Beautiful, yes, but over the top for a child.

Gorgeous, gorgeous, but I agree, WAY over the top for anybody under 25. Well, maybe high school graduation might qualify. Mary Margaret has already been invited to a number of birthday parties (she's 3), most of which we've managed to miss and which all qualified for my previous definition of over the top, but this one definitely raises that bar much higher. However, I'd like that for a birthday - say in 5 years when I turn 50. (Good grief, that's close.)

Nice to find some other "Jessica Claire Blog stalkers" out there! I'm on there all the time...so it's neat to see her pictures posted on your blog as well.:)

hey...i think...if you have the funds...why not?....
I disagree...it's only over the top if it was paid for with money they didn't have. Otherwise...what a lucky little girl! Imagine the memories she'll have!

Wow. I don't know about "over the top" for a 5, 15 or 50 year old. Can't argue about the explosive beauty of that experience... and for a big crowd to boot!

I do know that money does not make memories.

Alice In Wonderland is my all time favorite book. Is it too weird to want this party for MY birthday
(32)?

I was blown away when I first saw these pictures - the colors were amazing. What a fantasy party for any little girls, but I do think that it is "over the top", even if one has the money to spend on this sort of things, b/c I can't help but wonder how many much-less fortunate kids out there can benefit from the amount of $ spent on this party... And I agree w/ H, that "money does not make memories".

I'm the party planner of this event that took place in LA. It was a beautiful event for a gracious and lovely family.

The photos are stunning. The event looks spectacular. The attention to detail is positively amazing.

I am a bit taken aback though that this was for a four year old. Just the number of chairs alone looks like a wedding instead of a child's birthday party. It makes me wonder where you go from here? If this is your fourth birthday, what happens when you turn 16 or 21, or get married for that matter?

But what a lucky little girl to have a party like that.

Ummm.... I hate to admit this, but I'm stealing ideas from a four year old's birthday, for my 21st bash. I adore the wonderland theme, and I've been waiting forever to do something like this.It just sucks that a 4 year old got to it before I did.

Oh well, I don't have to tell my friends that's where I got the ideas.

I was just wondering where you bought those fabulous chandeliers. At my school, we are having an Alice in Wonderland Homecoming & those would be wonderful centerpieces. Please respond. You can also email me at ohhdamnitsam@aim.com
Thanks (:
