Edible Glitter — By Guest Mom Hailey Meyer Liechty
My friend Laura sent me a wonderful package, out of the glittery blue sky. This edible glitter is lovely to look at and is basically flavorless. It is made out of gum arabic. Lovely, lovely.
Just sprinkled some pink over real whipped cream for Stella's chocolate birthday cake for a final touché. You can find them here.

I'm giggling because I just saw an HBO special where an exotic dancer used this on her body for a performance--allowing people to lick it off of her.
I guess that's another use for all us moms out there. hehe
Ya know... I never would have thought of that!
Wow edible glitter what a great find. I am planning to take cake decorating classes once I learn I will be able to use this. Thanks Hailey.
I like that it doesn't have a taste--just like real glitter!?!
Gum arabic? Cool.
Guess what? I just found edible glitter at Michael's Crafts! It's in the cake decorating section under the Wilton label. I was happy to find some and not have to pay shipping!
